That's one of the many questions we'll be answering in our documentary about a game that 20 million people play per year, a number that's steadily growing. We decided to follow and track 16 guys in one Fantasy Football league throughout the 2004 season, getting on camera how it affects people's daily lives, speaking to wives, girlfriends and family members. Is it an obsession, and if so, is it a healthy one?

Who plays this game? We're getting all sorts of fans, from our primary league members, to celebrities as well as professional athletes from other sports who love Fantasy Football. We want to know why Fantasy Football players are as dedicated and die-hard as they are... why they love it so much.

What is the effect of Fantasy Football on actual Football? We've talked to radio and TV announcers, ex-NFL players as well as current ones to get their perspective on this phenomenon.

Fantasy Football isn't just a game anymore. It's become a billion dollar industry with seemingly limitless numbers of magazines, web sites, and TV shows dedicated to Fantasy Football. In order to tell the whole story, we are speaking to the companies that benefit from this popular game.

In the end, we hope to have a funny, insightful film that everyone can enjoy, a film that the Fantasy Football player will relate to, while his non-Fantasy Football girlfriend/wife will say: "Okay, now I understand why you're so nuts."
